Job Description

Well established and busy medical device manufacturing company seeking an experienced Technical Writer to join our winning team! Ideal candidate will have recent experience in a similar role. This role will support key internal customers, EP Operations, and vertical integration projects as well as strategic projects within the Information Documentation Services (IDS) team.

The Technical Writer will enforce the company standards; interpret and advocate industry technical writing standards; and initiate, coordinate, and lead development/improvement in existing manufacturing work instructions and procedures.

• Plan, analyze, and create manufacturing documentation using technical writing theories, methods, and tools.
• Enforce our Quality System standards.
• Ensure document content quality by consistently managing and organizing information for accuracy and readability. Will require hands on work with existing manufacturing personnel to document key process steps and procedures currently being executed into written documentation controlled through the quality system.
• Establish and manage relationships from document to document, within document content, or to other points of reference for product information.
• Initiate, coordinate, and lead cross-functional writing projects; negotiate project priorities, deliverables, and timelines to meet the needs of compliance and supported functional areas.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
• Previous experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, etc. to create quality system documentation
• Manufacturing knowledge or experience
• Previous experience in a medical device or other regulated industry preferred 
• ISO experience may apply.
